Low Poly: Wallpaper

This is a low poly wallpaper I have been working on for the last couple of days. I wanted something that looks stylish and works well as a wallpaper/ background banner. I loved the final outcome of this experiment. Using a deformer called Polygon Reduction, it created this geometric style.

Once I got the basic layout, I started to make it look very complex and abstract, this also made the wallpaper quite dark and metallic.

Low Poly Modelling- Landscapes

Recently I have been experimenting with Low Poly modelling within Cinema 4D. Everywhere I kept seeing many 3d designers creating amazing pieces of work in this very unique style and I wanted to know how it was done. The idea of making a 3d object look somewhat 2d just amazed me and it inspired me to create loads of different styles of 3d illustration.

These are some experiments of what I have created recently while in Cinema 4D, I tried having a look at modelling mountains and terrain. Using loads of different deformers and settings I came to these final images. What I will do overtime is develop these further and used what I have learnt to create a short film or music visualisation.

Work

I have been away for a little while after being really busy non-stop and creating tonnes of commission work. I have been working for a digital marketing agency called Meeco London based in North London.

I have been mostly busy designing wordpress integrated websites; as well as many other types of design. For example motion graphics, email marketing design, identity and branding packages, illustration, design for print and a whole lot more.

If you want to check out Meeco London's website you can check it out here: http://bit.ly/1h5eM2p
